THE FOUNDATION
The Badile Lubamba Foundation strives to achieve sustainable development goals for young people in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Its actions focus on education, training, and cultural exchange, particularly through sport and its inherent values. The foundation also extends its services to the social and environmental fields.
The Badile Lubamba Foundation, based in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, was created in 2010. It aims to make a significant contribution to the fight against idleness among young people in African societies in difficulty, through a triple action: physical, material, and intellectual.
OUR VISION
"Sustainable development is at the heart of the BK Lubamba' Afrique Foundation's concerns. The foundation's vision is to provide fertile ground for sowing the seeds of development; in other words, to make a significant contribution to the fight against the idleness of men and women in African societies in difficulty, by taking action on three levels: physical, material and intellectual, through the transformation of man for a better, more prosperous future.
OUR MISSION
- To promote universal health and well-being for the population by developing awareness-raising, healthcare access and disease prevention programmes
- To give young people access to trade schools and vocational training and support programmes
- To ensure access to quality education for all ages, with an emphasis on disadvantaged regions
- To encourage social innovation by supporting entrepreneurship among women and young people
- To promote the environment and support nature conservation initiatives
- To combat social inequalities in all sectors of activity to achieve sustainable growth
- Encourage young people's access to sports, art and creative expression
- Promote digital skills and the development of innovative projects through an encubator
